Snowdon
A couple of weeks ago, Stu, Pete, Glen & I climbed Snowdon again, just for the fun of it.
The original plan had been to arrive Friday, prepare Sat and then set off very early Sunday AM, so we arrived at the summit for sunrise, however the weather was not looking too promising, so we eventually set off around Midday on Saturday, spending the morning in Bettws-y-Coed.

Although the weather was not looking too great, the skies cleared as we reached the summit. Pete and Glen took the Crib Coch route which is slightly more challenging, which meant Stu and I were stuck at the top waiting for 45 mins for them to appear out of the fog.

The walk down was even longer which meant the last bus had gone by the time we got off the mountain, which wasn’t helped by the local kids re-directing the road signs to try and send us in the wrong direction. After flagging down a local taxi we managed to get back to the starting point to collect our cars, only for Pete to set up and then immediately breakdown. This meant any thoughts of a mini-climb Sunday AM where put off as we all waited for the AA.
